An entertaining story that uses elements of STEM to address a highly relatable element of a kid's life: homework.

Abby hates doing homework. In fact, she'll do whatever it takes to get out of it—like using her homework to make a baby universe! She finds some instructions, creates lots of energy, and, with the help of her dog, Comet, she's able to create one. She's tempted to escape into the universe—where she's sure she wouldn't have to do homework ever again—but ultimately decides to stay right where she is with the family she loves.

Don’t try this at home, just bring it home. The Universe Ate My Homework is totally safe (and delightful) to read.

A lively and interesting STEM-focused addition.
