John Lawrence is one of the country's most distinguished children's book artists. He has contributed to well over two hundred titles as an illustrator and wood-engraver, including Lyra's Oxford by Philip Pullman, Tiny's Big Adventure by Martin Waddell and Seahorse by Chris Butterworth. John lives in Cambridge and is visiting Professor at A.P.U. Cambridge School of Art, where he lectures on the M.A. course in Children's Book Illustration.
