Liz Anelli

Liz Anelli once had a job dusting dinosaurs at London’s Natural History Museum. Now she illustrates books for children that win various awards. Dry to Dry: The Seasons of Kakadu was the CBCA Information Book of the Year in 2021. After ten happy years living in Newcastle, Australia, Liz moved back to England in 2022. She continues to create maps and books from her Cambridge studio, and finds time to be an Illustration Coordinator for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and an active member of the UK Society of Authors. Hand to Hand is her debut self-authored book. She is represented by Fiona Kenshole at Transatlantic Literary Agency USA. With a massive passion for drawing, Liz wraps up warm and goes out sketching most days. It is simply the best way to find new ideas and fall in love with the world all over again.
