Every girl wants to be a flowergirl!

I am Calypso and I love teeny, tiny pearly buttons and skirts that swish. I want to see a cake as high as the sky. I've been waiting and waiting a very long time. When will it be my turn to be a flowergirl?

Creators

Sally-Ann Balharrie has only ever been a flowergirl once, wearing a short straight dress with knee-high socks and very shiny white patent leather shoes. She didn't jump or scratch or giggle and tried to be the best flowergirl in the world. Sally-Ann owns and runs one of the most successful design agencies in Melbourne. Until recently her focus has been designing what goes on the outside cover of a book. This is the first time she has been on the inside.

Kristina Sabaroedin is a newcomer to the world of illustrating for children. She brings a fresh, warm and ever-so-stylish perspective to this book.
