Creators
Bill Sommer writes fiction and screenplays and plays the drums. His work has appeared in The Whitefish Review and in the New Libri press Coffee Shorts series. He is the screenwriter of the film Tony Tango, winner of Best Feature Film at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writers Workshop and a Bachelors in Jazz Performance from the University of Miami. He is the drummer for the band Book of Colors and singer/songwriter Ed Hale. Born and raised in St. Louis, he now lives in Atlanta. A 52-Hertz Whale is his first novel. Natalie Tilghman is a writer and editor. She has many years of teaching and editing experience. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago Writer's Workshop Certificate Program and the Rainier Writing Workshop M.F.A. in Creative Writing program at Pacific Lutheran University. Though her main genre is fiction, she also writes poetry and creative nonfiction. She lives in suburban Chicago with her husband, son, and their Chihuahua.
