Dave McKean

Dave McKean is an award-winning artist and film director whose work spans drawing, painting, photography, collage, digital art and sculpture. His books for children include The Savage, Slog’s Dad and Mouse Bird Snake Wolf by David Almond, all of which were shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award, and S.F. Said’s Varjak Paw, Outlaw Varjak Paw, Phoenix and Tyger. For adults he has illustrated novels by Stephen King and Ray Bradbury, and Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck Cookbook. Dave lives in England with his wife.
