A. M. Dassu

A. M. Dassu writes both fiction and nonfiction for children. She is a Director of Inclusive Minds, a unique organisation for people who are passionate about inclusion, diversity, equality and accessibility in children’s literature. She is also patron of The Other Side of Hope, a literary magazine edited by immigrants and refugees, which serves to celebrate the refugee and immigrant communities worldwide. Boy, Everywhere was her debut novel and has been listed for over 25 awards in the UK, including being shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the Diverse Book Awards, and being the 2021 Winner of the Little Rebels Award. It was also chosen as one of the best children’s books of the year by the Guardian, Bookriot and BookTrust and is an American Library Association Notable Book.
