Freda Chiu

Freda Chiu is an award-nominated Australian author, illustrator and educator. Her work was shortlisted for the 2022 Children’s Book Council of Australia Award for New Illustrator and IBBY Australia Ena Noël Award, among others. As well as illustrating children’s books, Freda’s work spans comics, editorial illustration, public art and retail graphics. She is a lover of texture and makes art that is colourful, quirky and always with heart.
