Katie Cotton studied English Literature at Oxford University before becoming an author and editor of children’s books. Her books Counting Lions and The Road Home were both published internationally and received starred reviews in the US. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her hiking up a hill or eating cake.
Tor Freeman grew up in London and graduated from Kingston University with a BA in illustration. She has been working as an illustrator ever since. In 2012 she was awarded the Sendak Fellowship and spent a month in Connecticut.
A delightful twist … highlights themes of fairness, hard work, just desserts, and the importance of reading the fine print. Recommended for fiction collections.
