The Nanny Goat wants kids more than anything in the world. When she can't have any of her own, she adopts one instead, but he's different to the others. One by one, the other kids start to go missing, and everyone blames the Nanny Goat's Kid. Has he really eaten them? Or are the others just trying to make a scapegoat out of him?

Creators

Jeanne Willis is one of the most successful children's picture book authors. She also writes for television and video companies, and has two children. Amongst her many other prize-winning books, sha has written Who's in the Loo? which was shortlisted for the Nottingham Children's Book Award, won the Red House Picture Book Award and was the overall winner at the Sheffield Children's Book Award.

Tony Ross has been highly acclaimed and is in great demand as a children's book illustrator. His books are published all over the world. He lives in Oxfordshire.
