Meet Anatiti: once chosen by the gods to rule ancient Egypt, this young pharaoh struggled to take help from her advisors. After all, she was the one chosen to rule, not them! But when tragedy strikes, and Anatiti realises she can't quite remember the path to the underworld, she is cursed as a mummy. Trapped inside a tomb for a millenia, found by an explorer and brought all the way back to the village of Dreadbury, this mummy still hasn't learnt how to take advice... until now.
Creators
Laura Suárez is a freelance illustrator from Galicia. Since a young age, she has always been fascinated by books. She studied Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and completed a Comic and Illustration Masters in Barcelona. Working as an illustrator or an author, she has worked with clients such as Penguin Random House, Xerais or Group Edelvives, among others.

It has such an uplifting message of friendship and support and combines this in a unique and hilariously funny way through its fast-paced storyline which provides brilliant talking points about Ancient Egypt, tomb-raiding and mythology along the way.

A great learning tool, introducing children to the Ancient Egyptions in a fun and accessible way. It has a strong message too- it’s ok to be self confidence and know what you want but it’s also important to listen to advice of friends and family to help you through life’s challenges.
