“Have you ever been bored out of your wits and simply can’t think of anything to do? Say hello to Nic Blake and the Remarkables, your very own boredom extinguisher. Hi, I’m Esha, and this action packed, fast paced fantasy and adventure novel by Angie Thomas… has quickly become a favourite. Written from Nic’s unique perspective and set in Mississippi, it’s a whirlwind of magic, drama, and action. Every single character has their own little idiosyncrasies, which make them all the more endearing and relatable. I particularly enjoyed this amazing book because relatable. This book was an absolute page turner and I really enjoyed reading it.”

Two-Headed Chicken

“I loved this book so much that I read it lots of times and even read it to my pet chickens. If you like animals, comedy, and adventure, the Two-Headed-Chicken would be an excellent book for you… This book is great for kids grades one to three and for kids who like comics. This book does come with a warning: it is so funny and interesting you won’t want to put it down! You might get in trouble for reading at the breakfast table instead of eating your breakfast.”

“Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a two-headed chicken being chased by an enraged moose? Well, you don’t have to wonder too much longer. You need to read Two-Headed Chicken… a funny adventure book with a lot of science fiction thrown in. It is a graphic novel that follows the adventures of a two-headed chicken. I enjoyed this book because it is interactive for the reader. It had mazes, quizzes, and puzzles that I found really fun to do. I would recommend this book to kids who like their books to have funny jokes, crazy characters, and silly adventures. I hope you enjoyed this book as much as I did, Squizzies!”

“I enjoyed Two-Headed Chicken because it was fun and exciting. You never knew what was about to happen and the things they did were hilarious. The characters were great and did weird stuff… I enjoyed the illustrations. They were bright and looked like they could have been drawn by a kid. People who like a good laugh would like this book.”

“Are you looking for an easy read to relax with after school? Two-Headed Chicken is a graphic novel, which means it is like a comic book with illustrations as well as words. The book is filled with humour. Including the world’s longest knock-knock joke, as well as a two-headed chicken that gets chased across the multiverse from universe to universe by a talking green moose that wants to eat it. Although each universe is different, the green moose and two-headed chicken will always be there to entertain you. This book has quizzes, fun illustrations, and much, much more. If you enjoy the Treehouse books, I can guarantee you will love Two-Headed Chicken by Tom Angleberger.”
