On Nanna’s Boat

Family & Home Stories
A little girl spends time with her grandma on her boat. Time flows in its own way and everything is different on the boat, small and cosy even the window as round as the world. Together, grandma and granddaughter, explore the little wonders of simple activities and daily routine, share the glorious sea and sky and the closeness of the stars. They collect driftwood and sea glass they make chimes and sing like mermaids. They experience the wonder of the changing seasons and sounds around them but mostly, they treasure the precious time spent in a blissful stream of unforgettable days.
This story is based on my daughter's many visits and long stays at Nonna’s house. A gentle and loving tribute to the precious time my daughter spent with my mother.
