Creators
Glenda Millard was born in the Goldfields region of Central Victoria and has lived in the area all her life. Glenda worked in various office jobs and it wasn’t until Glenda's four children became teenagers that she began to write in her spare time. She has been writing full-time since 1999 and has published six picture books, three junior fiction titles, short stories and two young adult titles.
Born in Western Australia, Rebecca Cool recently moved to a rural property on the Margaret River with her husband Ross. Rebecca has studied at the Claremont School of Fine Art and has had her work shown at a number of exhibitions. Rebecca's work features a combination of oil pastels and fabric collage, and her strong, colourful works have a naïve 'folk art' charm. The people she paints also all feature the same instantly recognizable ‘trademark’ face.
