I am Loki, the trickster and the greatest of all gods…
Loki, the mighty trickster god, has been banished by Odin to live on Earth as an eleven-year-old boy. But when Loki’s monstrous children start going missing, he is sent on a quest to retrieve them with his fake-brother, the thunder god Thor, and the nauseatingly perfect god Balder. With this disaster-trio setting out, the quest feels doomed from the start…

Creators
Louie Stowell writes books about magic, gods and monsters (mostly). She has written carefully researched books about space, ancient Egypt, politics and science but eventually lapsed into just making stuff up. She has written fiction for 8–12 (Nosy Crow and Walker Books US), but Loki: A Bad God's Guide series is her first as both author and illustrator, inspired by her research into Norse myths.
