Creators
Matt Oldfield grew up in Southampton, playing football with his brother Tom. The two brothers are the authors of the bestselling Ultimate Football Heroes series. He won the Telegraph Children’s Sports Book of the Year for Unbelievable Football and is the co-author of the Football GOAT series. He has also writen Ultimate Cricket Superstars with Tanya Aldred.
Maggie Alphonsi is a former England international Rugby Union and Saracens flanker player, helping England win the Rugby World Cup in 2014. She was the Sunday Telegraph's Sports Woman of the Year in 2016. She is now a pundit, motivational speaker and promotes women and girls' involvement in rugby. She will be a pundit for the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup.
