This is a lovely book for early readers. The illustrations are excellent (my son especially loved the map at the beginning) which really helps with any tricky words. My son loved the story. Claudia tries to make magic cupcakes to win a competition, but it certainly doesn’t go to plan. My son thought it was very funny!
