Creators
Joseph Coelho was the Waterstones Children’s Laureate 2022–2024, and is an award-winning writer. In 2024 he won the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing for The Boy Lost in the Maze and was awarded an OBE for his services to the arts, to children’s reading and to literature. His picture books include If All the World Were... illustrated by Allison Colpoys and the Luna Loves... series illustrated by Fiona Lumbers. His poetry books for children include Overheard in a Tower Block illustrated by Kate Milner, A Year of Nature Poems illustrated by Kelly Louise Judd, and his novel in verse, The Girl Who Became a Tree. Nice easy to read book due to the text size and fabulous graphics throughout. It almost felt like it should be encased in a leather cover, but a fab read with a hint of mystery and magic, great story line which she really enjoyed and it was quite a page turner, she did not want to put it down and got really engrossed in it. Wonderful characters and plot, highly recommended

Alexander really enjoyed this book, he found it quite fast paced which is what he really enjoys. Full of action and adventure. Part 2 of a series and he is going to get part 1 as he enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended.

This book was really good. I really loved the characters and thought the plot was so fun and easy to follow. I found this book to be a really easy read. I would definitely reccomend to anyone who wants to read an immersive but easy read.
