Noah enjoyed this book. He found it imaginative and the world that the author created really sucked him in. I’m glad to see there was representation of African American beliefs and culture, as it was something different and made the book educational. The book also touched on issues relevant to society today, so it encouraged Noah to think about some important issues while enjoying the fantasy element of the book.
