Vango Book Two: A Prince Without a Kingdom

By Timothée de Fombelle

The thrilling conclusion to the critically acclaimed series, by an award-winning author and translator.

Vango has been in danger for as long as he can remember. He has spent his life jumping across rooftops, fleeing to mysterious islands and evading capture. But Vango will not run for much longer. The mystery of his past has started to unravel, and now, in the shadow of a rapidly changing world, Vango will face those who have haunted him for so long and finally find his true identity.

  • A compelling and gripping story charting adventures across Russia, Paris, Scotland and Italy.
  • The first book in the series won the English Pen Award 2013, for the Pen Translates programme.
  • Praise for Vango book one: "Satisfyingly long, with a plot that flits between time zones but is always easy to follow, this is simply too good to miss." - Independent
