The Little Prince 5: The Star Snatcher’s Planet

By Thomas Barichella
Illustrated by Élyum Studio

The new adventures based on the masterpiece by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

The Chlorophyllians, are having serious problems with their crops, all of which are dying. The Little Prince realizes that the problem is the fading starlight, which has a direct influence on the plant life of the planet. He discovers that an astronomer is uprooting stars and planets from the sky in order to create a perfect replica of the night sky on the roof of his planetarium, so that he never has to leave his home to see them or ever rejoin the townsfolk who rejected him for being different. Thanks to the Snake, the astronomer's next target is The Little Prince's own home, B612. Even if the Little Prince can convince the astronomer to return the stars to their places in the sky, it will be a race against destruction to save the planet.

  • Beloved author, name recognition.
  • Appealing reimagining of the character in a popular contemporary style with crossover appeal to young manga readers (cf. Avatar: The Last Airbender).
  • Recent graphic novel adaptation of the original by Joann Sfar has brought it back into the news.
