By Sasha Dawn

A gripping psychological thriller following a teen girl's quest to prove that her father didn't kill her mother - and discovering there's more to her parents' story than she ever imagined.

Sami's mother disappeared ten years ago, when Sami was six. and the police have always suspected that Sami's father killed her. Sami's sure her father's innocent. But when new evidence emerges linking him to another woman's mysterious death, Sami sets out to uncover the truth. Will she prove her father's innocence--or will she stumble onto secrets she'd rather not confront?

  • An emotionally compelling thriller in the same spirit as Sasha Dawn's well-selling, well-received Oblivion.
  • Features a smart and proactive female protagonist trying to find reconcile feelings about her parents and deal with anger at how she's been treated by them.
  • Real-world headline appeal of "did he/didn't he" and cold case, with a dash of romance and teen friendship dynamics to lighten the mood.
