Q & Ray: Meteorite or Meteor-Wrong?: Case #2

By Trisha Speed Shaskan
Illustrated by Stephen Shaskan

A hip, goofy Babymouse-style graphic novel with the spirit of classic children's mysteries like Cam Jensen and Encyclopedia Brown.

When a meteorite disappears during Q and Ray's field trip to a science centre, the sleuths set out to find the thief. This hedgehog-and-rat duo lives in a town populated by animals—and they're the city's top crime busters. Their second graphic mystery includes lots of laughs and a lesson about space rocks.

  • Crisp, colorful, and simple art is perfect for first-time graphic novel readers
  • Story involves fun, high-interest topics including art and magic
  • Balances of classic whodunit setup and quirky humour
