Chris Riddell is an author, political cartoonist (for The Observer) and the illustrator of Castle Diary, Don Quixote and Jonathan Swift's Gulliver, which won the Kate Greenaway Medal. He won the Smarties Prize in 2008. He lives in Brighton.
