Eugenia Lincoln and the Unexpected Package

By Kate DiCamillo
Illustrated by Chris Van Dusen

“Fans of this series and the earlier Mercy Watson books will be amazed by Eugenia’s partial redemption and delight that the results are merely temporary.” — Booklist

Eugenia Lincoln is a practical person with no time for frivolity. When an unexpected package containing an accordion arrives at her house, she is determined to have nothing to do with it. But her plans end in frustration. How can Eugenia stop being tormented by this troublesome package? What will it take for a cynical older sister to realize she’s a born accordion player — with music in her heart?

  • Now in paperback, the fourth book in the Tales From Deckawoo Drive give Eugenia Lincoln her turn to shine!
  • Kids will love reading about the hilarious hijinks that ensue when an accordion arrives — without explanation — at grumpy Eugenia Lincoln's doorstep.
  • For readers who loved Mercy Watson and are ready for more of a challenge — provides the perfect bridge between the Mercy Watson books and Kate DiCamillo's longer novels.
