Dare You

By Sue Lawson

**eBook Edition** When does a dare stop being a game?

Ruby, Khaden and Sas have been best friends forever. But they aren’t kids anymore. Life has become complicated and it’s testing the boundaries of their friendship. Their childish games spiral out of control, threatening to unravel the world as they know it. And this time somebody will lose. When does a dare stop being a game? This is the question posed by Dare You, a gripping young adult novel by award-winning Australian author Sue Lawson. This coming-of-age story is about friendship, feelings and first love. For more realistic YA by Sue, read her books Allie McGregor’s True Colours, Finding Darcy, After, Forget Me Not, Pan’s Whisper and You Don’t Even Know. The angst that drives teenagers, the problems they perceive and the disunity that an unsettled family invokes are all treated fairly and convincingly … This is an engrossing read.” ViewpointDare You is an absorbing and tense tale, with characters that are very believable … Many teenagers will identify with the characters and will find it hard to put down.” Fiction Focus “The three characters offer believable insights into the many challenges of adolescence.” Bookseller+Publisher “Sue manages to weave the profound with the everyday language of a teenager.” Jackie French, Australian National Children’s Laureate 2014-2015 “Gripping … the characters are beautifully realised.” Anthony Eaton
