About the author

Elizabeth Pulford is a New Zealand author who has had more than 20 books published over the past twelve years, including picture books, chapter books, junior fiction novels and one adult novel, Castello Italiano. Her junior fiction novel, Call of the Cruins, was finalist in the New Zealand Post Book Awards. Her second novel with Walker Books Australia, Blackthorn, will be published in 2008.
