A Puppy for Annie

By Kim Lewis
Illustrated by Kim Lewis

A loving tribute to the friendship between a girl and her dog, from the much-loved creator of Floss.

Annie loves her new puppy, Bess. But when Bess rattles her bowl or scratches the door, what is she trying to say? With her mother's help, Annie soon learns what Bess is telling her. But what will Bess do when her best friend leaves for school?

  • Reassuring and gentle, this is the ideal picture book to accompany the arrival of a new pet.
  • Soft illustrations and a wise, flowing text perfectly capture the wonder of making a new friend.
  • "Kim Lewis draws the English countryside and farm animals as well as any children's illustrator, with delicate and detailed realism," The Sunday Times.
