Jim Smith

Jim Smith's witty style is inspired by cartoonists from around the world and drink cans from the 1980s. As a child he wanted to be an illustrator and has always pictured himself at a big desk with pots of pens, designing something and he went on to study graphic design, illustration and advertising at Buckinghamshire College. If he wasn't an illustrator, he would like to work in a big wooden greenhouse. Jim lives and works in London surrounded by lots of books and objects and plants.
