About the author

Antonia Barber is an award winning author, whose work includes "The Ghosts", shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal, and "The Mousehole Cat", a finalist for the Smarties prize, Commended for the 1991 Kate Greenaway Medal and winner of the 1990 British Book Award.

About the illustrator

Virginia Lee studied Art and Design at Exeter College and Illustration at Kingston University. She has also worked as a sculptor on Peter Jackson's film trilogy "The Lord of the Rings".
