About the illustrator

Alison Bartlett’s first book, "Oliver’s Vegetables", was commended for the 1996 V&A National Art Library Illustration Awards. Since then she has illustrated numerous children’s books, many with Vivian French, including "Growing Frogs" and "The Tiger and the Jackal".
