Sometimes I Like to Curl up in a Ball

By Vicki Churchill
Illustrated by Charles Fuge

Find out what Wombat likes doing best!

Life is a lot of fun for Wombat! There are plenty of things he enjoys doing: shouting at the top of his voice for no reason, stepping in circles until he falls over, poking out his tongue and pulling funny faces, getting in a muddy mess - but can you guess what Wombat likes to do best of all?

  • Sometimes I Like To Curl Up In A Ball was Highly Commended for the Kate Greenaway Medal 2001.
  • Read-aloud, rhyming text. Bright, bold illustrations and Wombat's own child-like nature will delight children's imagination.
  • Can be used to help children discuss their own feelings.
