About the author
Jill McDougall started writing at school by selling short pieces for magazines so she could buy eclairs from the tuckshop. Later, while working in a remote Indigenous community, she began writing poems for her class. They became her first book "Anna the Goanna and Other Poems". Since then, she has written over 100 books!
