About the author
Jana Novotny Hunter graduated from Hornsey College of Art. In 1993, she opened Bear Studios and in 1987 won the Judy Blume award in the US for "The Deaf City War". Among her recent titles are "Pet Detectives" (Books 1, 2 and 3), "A Bear Hug at Bedtime" and the "Saturday Club" series. Her previous book for Frances Lincoln was "I Have Feelings!"
About the illustrator
Lucy Richards studied art at the North East Wales School of Art and was awarded the Hallmark M&S Division Emerging Talent Award for her final design show in 2000. Her first picture book was "Night Monkey, Day Monkey" by Julia Donaldson.
