About the author
Libby Gleeson has written more than 20 books for young readers including picture books, junior fiction, fiction for older readers and non-fiction. Libby has also won many awards such as the Lady Cutler Award for Services to Children's Literature, 1997 and the Children's Book Council of Australia Picture Book of the Year, 2002 and Fiction for Young Readers Book of the Year, 1997.
About the illustrator
David Cox is one of Australia's most prolific book illustrators. In 1978, he was awarded the Walkley Award for newspaper illustration. He has won awards for illustration in Australia and the USA. He now works as a full-time illustrator and writer and lives in Brisbane.
