About the author
Kathy Henderson is an artist, printmaker and illustrator, as well as an author. She has written and illustrated a number of children's books, including "In the Middle of the Night", "A Year in the City" and "The Little Boat", Winner of the Kurt Maschler Award and shortlisted for the Smarties Book Prize. She has three children and lives in London.
About the illustrator
Alex Merry lives in Bristol where she also studied for her BA in Illustration. Alex has a particular interest in English customs – from croquet to morris dancing – and has recently exhibited artwork focusing on these traditions.
