About the author

James Carter is a primary teacher with an MA in Children's Literature. He regularly gives readings and performances in schools, libraries, bookshops and festivals and his poems have been included in over fifty children's anthologies. This is his first collection.

About the illustrator

Mique Moriuchi is a children's book illustrator (as well as greetings card designer) and often works with bits and pieces, textured paint and collage for her rich and unique images.
