About the author

Dick King-Smith is one of the world’s favourite children’s book authors. His titles include the much-loved Sophie books, "Aristotle", which was shortlisted for the 2005 Blue Peter Book Awards, and "The Sheep-Pig", which was turned into the Oscar-winning film "Babe". Dick lives in Bristol.

About the illustrator

Anita Jeram is the illustrator of the best-selling "Guess How Much I Love You" and the Sam series. She lives with her family in Northern Ireland.
