Veronica Bennett

Veronica Bennett graduated from University College, Cardiff in 1975 with an Honours Degree in English and completed her M.Phil from the same university in 1990. At the age of thirteen was given a typewriter which began her life-long enthusiasm for writing. She has worked as an English lecturer and teacher before coming to freelance writing and fiction. Her first children's book, "Monkey", was published in 1998 and since then has written three more books: "Anglemonster", "The Boy-Free Zone", "Cassandra’s Sister" and "Fish Feet". Veronica continues to teach A-level English part time and is currently working on a new novel. She lives in Middlesex with her husband - an academic - and has two children.
