Catherine and Laurence Anholt are a husband and wife team who have published more than 90 internationally bestselling children’s books in more than seventeen different languages. The Anholts have won numerous awards, including the top award in picture book publishing, the Nestle Children’s Book Gold Award, in 2001 for "Chimp and Zee" and Laurence also won the award in 1999 for "Snow White and the Seven Aliens" (illustrated by Arthur Robbins). Catherine has worked as a nurse and Laurence has worked as a hotel night receptionist, carpenter, school teacher, art lecturer before finding success as picture book makers. They are known for the sensitivity and humour they use to explore universal growing-up experiences such as in "What I Like" and "Here Comes the Babies". They live in Lyme Regis, England.
