Frank Dabba Smith was ordained as a rabbi at Leo Baeck College, London, in 1994. His first book for Frances Lincoln was "My Secret Camera", a chronicle for children of life in the Lodz Ghetto, with photographs secretly taken by Mendel Grossman, a prisoner determined to record the suffering of this people for posterity.
